The 1672 Outreach is an ideal combination of durability and affordability, especially when looking for dependable aluminum utility boats. Among the largest boats in this segment, the 1672 Outreach is wider and deeper than many competitors and carrys more V through the bow than most boats in this class. Its rugged simplicity is enhanced with purposeful features like aft split bench seating for easy access to the stern and marine-grade vinyl wrapped bench seats. The starboard rear seat features a clever wing that allows the operator to comfortably sit closer to the centerline of the hull and provides a convenient storage space below for a marine battery or a 2 1/2 gallon fuel tank.

The 20 hp Mercury outboard platform was redesisigned a few years ago. Mercury raised the bar with new ease-of-use and convenience features; the reengineered Advanced Tiller handle brought most engine control features into one zone. This longer handle makes for a shorter reach in boats like this Crestliner Outreach with split rear seat designs as the handle can be offset to the port or starboard side to suit the individual user's personal preferences. Electronic Fuel Injection brings convenience, enhanced fuel efficiency and cleaner emmisions to the compact outboard motor segment. Weighing in at just over 100 lbs., the 20 hp Mercury is a good match for the 1672 Outreach. If more speed is needed, the hull can handle the added power and weight of Mercury's 25 hp EFI outboard.
