The Crestliner CR1648 Mod-V Jon is an excellent choice for local anglers and hunters. It is large enough to cross Long Point's Inner Bay and yet you can still get into the marsh with it as well. The modified vee hull design handles the chop better than traditional flat bottom Jons without sacraficing the stability, shallow water draft draft or quick planning attributes that Jon boats are known for.

This boat pairs well with Mercury's 20 hp EFI Four Stroke but it can also handle the 25 hp or even 30 hp EFI Four Stroke if more power and speed are needed.
