When Mercury redesigned their 15 hp outboard platform a few years ago they raised the bar with new ease-of-use and convenience features. Mercury's reengineered Advanced Tiller handle brought most engine control features into one zone. This longer handle makes for a shorter reach in boats with split rear seat designs and the handle can be offset to the port or starboard side to suit the individual user's personal preferences. Electronic Fuel Injection brings convenience, enhanced fuel efficiency and cleaner emmisions to the compact outboard motor segment.

A wide range of 15 hp models are offered; long and short shaft versions as well as manual start or electric start variants are available. We typically have short shaft models in stock with either manual or electric start. Manual start models weigh just under 100 lbs with electric start models starting just over 100 lbs. A 12 litre (2 1/2 gallon) fuel tank and line is included with each new 15 hp Mercury outboard that we sell.
